It is intended to be pronounced as three words "tap-i-go", however, most pronounce it as "tap-ee-go" because it's easier to say.
The most common complaint we heard from users of other inspection software was that too much typing was required to get the necessary details entered into the system - particularly for specialty inspections, like irrigation. Tapigo was developed with the known irrigation assets and associated services already entered to allow the users to "tap" the relevant details instead of typing them.
Yes! When we first released Tapigo, we did a comprehensive growth analysis with one of our initial customers. You can find it here (link). You can create your own business case by modifying this spreadsheet template here (XSLX). And if you would like to share your business case with your management and colleagues, you can modify this PowerPoint presentation template here (PPTX).
If you would like to promote your use of Tapigo with your customers, you can share the following:

That's why we're excited to announce our partnership with Tapigo, a revolutionary automated software solution for irrigation maintenance. With Tapigo by our side, we're taking our service to the next level, and here's how:
Timeliness: Our dedicated irrigation technicians will now have the power to swiftly identify issues, estimate costs, and even resolve problems on the spot ("find and fix", if under a pre-approved amount), all while our team is onsite. This means faster turnaround times and minimal disruption to your daily routine.
Accuracy: With Tapigo, every identified issue is meticulously captured, ensuring precise cost estimates. You can trust that our proposals are backed by accurate data, providing you with peace of mind and avoiding any surprises along the way.
Transparency: We believe in transparency every step of the way. That's why our proposals include detailed specifics, including photos, so you can see exactly what needs to be done. We want you to feel confident in our service and know that you're getting the quality you deserve.
After each inspection, you can expect to receive a link to a comprehensive proposal via text or email. This allows you to review the details at your convenience and approve the proposed solutions with ease.
We're confident that this new capability will not only enhance your experience but also increase your confidence in our service. At [Your Company Name], we're dedicated to exceeding your expectations, and our partnership with Tapigo is just another way we're delivering on that promise.

We have the ability to load your existing properties without you having to manually enter them. Just transcribe your property list into this spreadsheet template (CSV, XLSX) and email it as an attachment to support@tapigo.com along with the name of your organization and primary contact email and we'll get them loaded for you.
We have the ability to load your existing controller and zone information without you having to manually enter them. This is a bit trickier than loading properties, however, because we need a separate spreadsheet for each property and the name of the spreadsheet needs to match the property name in the system so that we know where it belongs. Transcribe your controller and zone data into this spreadsheet template (CSV, XLSX), name the file the same as the Property name in Tapigo, and email it as an attachment to support@tapigo.com along with the name of your organization and primary contact email and we'll get them loaded for you.

Tapigo charges each month based on the number of users and how they use the system throughout the billing period. To calculate your expected charges, begin by defining who you would like to have access to the system - generally an office administrator, account managers, and irrigation technicians. Each of these users will be charged $10/user/month. Next, determine who among these users will be performing inspections in a given month. Each of these users will be charged an additional $20/user/mo.
Our pricing model is intended to align with your revenue model. It costs us each month just to keep the system running which is why we charge a base price. For users who perform inspections and identify revenue opportunities for needed repairs, we charge an additional amount. This does not inadvertently charge customers who only want to use Survey or who do not perform inspections all months of the year.
On the last day of each billing period, the system automatically calculates the charge amount (see above), generates an invoice, charges the credit card on file, and emails the primary contact on the account a copy of the invoice.
Don't worry. Although the system automatically makes three attempts to bill you before canceling your subscription, none of your data will be lost if you weren't able to update your credit card information in time. If you have issues getting your subscription reactivated, please contact us at support@tapigo.com.
Go to http://apps.tapigo.com/#/configure/organization, scroll down to the billing section, and click "Update Credit Card".
We're sorry that your goals aren't being met. Please drop us a line to let us know what we can do in the future to win your business back and request a cancelation at support@tapigo.com. Thank you for giving us a try!
Tapigo is accessible either on your mobile device or your desktop computer through a browser. The mobile applications will run on any Apple or Android phone or tablet by first downloading the application(s) to the device(s) you plan to use in the field. You can download the applications for free by going to the App Store on your device and searching for "Tapigo LLC". You should start by downloading Tapigo Survey and Tapigo Inspect as these are the most frequently used applications. You can also access all of the Tapigo applications through any browser by going to http://apps.tapigo.com. There is no difference between the mobile and browser applications other than the mobile has the benefit of access to the device's camera and Global Positioning System (GPS).
If you are already a registered user, your login credentials will be the same across both the mobile and browser applications. If you are not registered, you can register yourself and connect to your organization/branch by going here (link). You can also ask your site administrator to add you as a user and you will receive an email invitation with access instructions.
We wanted to the applications to be simple and consistent in their look and feel to minimize training. Because each step of the workflow was to be performed by different roles, we thought it would be convenient to have a single application for each step in the workflow. Survey to map irrigation assets and generate an as-built report. Inspect to identify irrigation issues and generate a branded proposal. Approve to identify which irrigation issues have been approved by the customer. Work to present approved issues for the technician to repair and to capture actual time and materials. And Invoice to determine the actual time and materials for each issue so that it can be properly reflected on the invoice that is sent to the customer.
Yes! In the Survey app, go to the Survey tab and tap the share icon in the upper-right corner. It will generate a PDF in the background and email you a link to download.
In the Inspect app, go to the Inspect tab and tap the share icon in the upper-right corner. You can then select how much detail you want to show your customer by selecting the appropriate sliders and generate a branded proposal. The link in the browser can be copied and sent to your customer when you are ready.
All Tapigo applications run on either a tablet or a phone. As for Apple vs Android, the same software runs on both and one does not work better than another. From my perspective, going with an Android referbished model is a fine low-cost, effective solution if you don't already have devices available. The main thing you want to ensure is that the battery lasts all day. Also, be sure to get an Otterbox or some kind of heavy duty case to protect it. If you have an IT department, be sure to check with them first as they will likely provide on-going support for the device and may have suggestions or even devices on-hand for you to use.
The Survey app allows you to take photos of irrigation assets (e.g. controllers, valves) to make them easier to identify. Additionally, the Inspect app allows you to take photos of needed repairs. When you are first using this capability, you will be prompted to allow the application access to your camera. If you are having trouble using your camera, you may have to change permissions on your device (Apple, Android).
